The first episode of the famous UK motoring program, Fifth Gear, has not long aired in the UK and the star of the show, Tiff Needell tests the brand new 2012 Jaguar XKR-S next to the legendary Jaguar XJ220.

When launched the iconic Jaguar XJ220 was the fastest supercar in production and the most powerful Jaguar ever made. The latest model in the XK-range, the 2012 Jaguar XKR-S, is powered by a supercharged V8 engine, which outputs 550hp and 680Nm of torque. A total of 8hp more than the 3.5 liter twin-turbocharged V6 placed in the XJ220, making it the most powerful car Jaguar has ever produced for the consumer market.
