Luxury automotive manufacturer Jaguar has announced it will once again play proud host to the hotly anticipated Jaguar Style Stakes that will be the must-visit event at this year’s Dubai World Cup. The Jaguar Style Stakes will take place at the world’s richest horse race, held at the Meydan Racecourse on 29 March 2014.
As title sponsor of the Style Stakes for five years in a row, Jaguar’s involvement has continued to grow beyond that of a typical sponsorship. Since the Jaguar Style Stakes was created by the brand in 2009, the event has become a high profile fashion affair in its own right that is synonymous with the Jaguar brand DNA. The partnership between the Style Stakes and Jaguar is one which embodies luxury and style, giving Jaguar the ultimate platform to express its iconic design credentials.

The Dubai World Cup has attracted worldwide acclaim, as its line-up of world-class racehorses, jockeys and owners compete for total prize money of USD 27.25 million (AED 100.1 million). With approximately 80,000 guests attending, it has become a social and fashion highlight of the Dubai calendar.

A fresh panel of judges from the fashion and media industry will once again have the difficult task of selecting the best of Dubai’s fashion elite to become this year’s Jaguar Style Stakes winners, awarding accolades from ‘Best Dressed Couple’ to ‘Best Hat’.
Categories for 2014 include ‘Best Dressed Lady’ (winner and runner-up), ‘Best Hat’, ‘Best Dressed Man’, ‘Best Dressed Couple’ and ‘Most Creative Hat’. The lucky ‘Best Dressed Lady’ will drive away a brand new Jaguar F-TYPE Convertible for a year and winners of the other categories will receive prizes from Jaguar and additional sponsors such as HTC, The Meydan Hotel, Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa, Meydan Beach and Nstyle. The winner of ‘Most Elegant Lady’, sponsored by Longines and selected by a team of style spotters as racing guests arrive on the day, will also be presented as part of the Jaguar Style Stakes programme.
The Jaguar Style Stakes Arena will be located in the Apron Views area of Meydan Racecourse on 29 March, 2014. The full Jaguar line-up will be on display at the Jaguar Style Stakes Arena including the new, dynamically capable and performance focused Jaguar F-TYPE Coupé, alongside the Jaguar F-TYPE Convertible. The new flagship performance models adorned by the ‘R’ badge, the Jaguar XJR and Jaguar XFR-S, will also be on display boasting enhanced features, innovative technologies and new levels of luxury and comfort.
